The article shows the technique, the conditions under which it will be serious and when not so serious. I have also described the solutions to reduce/remove the relationship problems using Mandi's practical remedies.
Mandi's position in the zodiac is displayed with all planets in all modern Jyotisha software.
Here is the technique:
- Check the rashi (sign) in which Mandi is placed in birth chart.
Note who is the planetary lord of that rashi. The lord is called rashi dispositor of mandi. - Next, find the planet who is the lord of 7th house in birth chart.
Look at the sign in which the 7th house lord is placed. That sign will play very important role during transit, as explained (below). - In transit chart, when the dispositor of natal Mandi transits in the sign occupied by natal 7th house lord, marital or relationship problems are likely.
Don't miss this in chart reading
If the 7th house in birth horoscope is strong then the problems will be minor or hardly felt in any serious capacity. If however the 7th house in birth chart is very weak, the problem usually become more serious.
If the dispositor of Mandi in birth chart happens to afflict the 7th house then the transit of that dispositor planet on the sign occupied by 7th lord in birth chart can bring some serious challenges.
Important caveat: Frequent or serious issues
There is another important consideration here. The dispositor of Mandi could either be a slower moving planet e.g. Saturn or a faster moving one e.g. Moon or Mercury.
When the dispositor planet (of Mandi) happens to be a faster moving planet then fundamentally the problems during the transit period should not blow out of proportion and fundamentally they should be manageable.. that's because the transits will be frequent.
For example, Moon will transit the said sign once every month - we don't expect major issues every month unless one is highly unfortunate in 7th house matters.
When the dispositor planet (of Mandi) happens to be a slower moving planet e.g. Saturn or Jupiter then the problems will be more pronounced or bigger in scope provided the 7th house is weak in birth chart - that's the key.
Nothing happens outside the scope of a rock solid birth chart analysis. If you miss that one, predictions don't work consistently.
The problems during the slower planet's visits are bigger (and serious) because hey don;t happen frequently. These problems come after longer periods.
What remedies or karmic healing to do at that time?
Here the Mandi's nakshatra placement can help if the troubles in marriage are happening at the time of Mandi's dispositor's transit over natal 7th lord. Check which nakshatra Mandi is placed. For example, if Mandi is in Ashwini nakshatra (see the image), one must plant a tree that's related to Ashwini nakshatra which happens to be Dhatura (Jimsonweed/Thorn apple) plant in this example.
If its not possible to plant it, it's helpful to provide some help to those you plant or take care of such trees, donating the same to those who use it e.g. for ayurvedic purposes. There are many ways in which the affected person can positively engage with the energy of that tree/plant that's related to a specific nakshatra.
If one wishes to chant mantras, the nakshtara mantra can be chanted on days when Moon transits Mandi's nakshatra. All nakshatra mantras are given in spiritual text Taittirīya brāhmaṇam. For example the mantra for Ashwini nakshatra is:
अश्विनौ देवौ सह पर्वाजेण । तिरश्चीर्णं वर्षन्ते स्ववाहो । ताभ्यां नक्षत्रं मधुवत् कामदुघाम । प्रजां पुष्टिमूर्जमस्मासु धत्तम् ।
aśvinau devau saha parvājeṇa | tiraścīrṇaṃ varṣante svavāho | tābhyāṃ nakṣatraṃ madhuvat kāmadughāma | prajāṃ puṣṭimūrjamasmāsu dhattam |
In conclusion, these are not magical solutions to work around karmic baggage. Remedies work only with an intent and resolve to clean up one's karma. Timing of events is subordinate to full and detailed chart analysis.
