Both RAHU–KETU work at the energy level. Rahu descends from energy to matter, while Ketu ascends from matter to energy.
Rahu is within. Ketu is without.
Rahu works to consolidate energy into mass. Ketu dissipates mass back to energy.
The manifested reality is tangible — mass — and temporary, whereas unmanifest reality — energy — is long-lasting and eventually eternal.
It is the energy cycle which has a definite start (Rahu) and completion (Ketu).
This principle applies at the level of a daily task as well as from birth (start) to death (end) within the scope of this earthy existence.
Rahu is illusion because it creates a limited reality. It is a temporary projection of matter.
Ketu tries to merge the limited reality into Universal reality because it represents a deeper impact of energy.
This scope extends beyond the life–death cycle operated by Kala-Chakra — the time-space continuum — but remains controlled by Maha-Kaala, the timeless and spaceless One Reality.
